Captain Dave’s Dolphin and Whale Safari saw our first gray whale of the season on December 29 during our Signature Safari.
Crew and passengers aboard our hi-tech catamaran “Manute’a” saw the gray whale a couple of miles offshore migrating south (to Baja, CA). It was surrounded by dolphins, some were seen leaping over the whale! The dolphins must have been as happy to see the whale as we were!
It was traveling at about 4 – 5 miles per hour, making shallow dives, and surfacing regularly.
We’d love to have you join us to experience the unforgettable sight of gray whales in their natural environment. Click here to learn more about our daily trips or call us at (949) 488-2828 to make reservations.
